Thank you, Nia. I rather liked this post, too, but it did not get much attention. Glad you enjoyed it! One of the neat things about it is that during prolonged dry spells, it drops its leaves and the stalks look rather dead, but they aren’t. After a good rain, the blooms appear like this, and are quickly followed by little green leaves that completely cover the dead looking stalks.
