northern exposures

They say that if you lose a limb, your nerves convince you that your arm or leg is still there.

It is the first day of summer vacation but the imperative to teach still propels me, tells me there is something more that must be done. What is it? lesson plans, grading? No, not these. But there is something that must be done.

It is time to rest the mind

time to plant restorative thoughts

time to remember family and friends

time to explore the richness of life and God’s plan for it all.
