life in a village

…us young whippersnappers know things are a changin’. Of course, the forecast calls for 50% chance of snow tonight and 60% tomorrow…

    1. Ha! Nothing stops for snow here. And in Texas where we used to live, the town shut down when the forecast called for snow. They don’t waste time seeing if it really happens, they just close the town and stay in bed.

  1. Gosh, what a contrast to the south. We are having an early spring. The little birds are all chirping this morning and I can easily drink my coffee on the porch barefoot and without a jacket. The snow, in that quantity, is so beautiful though. I love the snow-covered car in your photograph. Looks like it’s hibernating!

  2. Seems that you car is being seen now ๐Ÿ™‚ In here we have really nice spring day today, it was almost 20C degree… but but but as they say, next week there is snow and rain again!!!! We come and go between these temperatures… this is so bad… Have a nice weekend, dear Dave, Thank you, with my love, nia

    1. Actually, the cars aren’t completely buried, but many of the flat bottomed boats are. Machinery isn’t ever put away, its just left out to freeze all winter.
