Fifteen below and snowy.
Chiitaii ahshii ~It is snowing outside. The Gwitch’in language is a hard one to master, and one with multiple dialects, but chiitaii ahshii is not too difficult. The language is an unusual blend of soft, hard and clipped sounds. An apostrophe, as the one in Gwitch’in, indicates an audible clip. Most vowels, or maybe all, are short. Wish I could tell you more, but I am still learning, and there is a big disconnect between hearing and speaking.
